Marijuana Legalization

Marijuana is now LEGAL for everyone in my kingdom. Therefore kynd brownies may be sold in regular cafes nationwide. Recipe to follow:

Take a minimum of one half ounce of good green nugs and toss in your clean coffee grinder. Grind to a fine powder.

Using a rubber spatula, carefully scrape all powder into a frying pan. Measure the quantity of soybean/vegetable oil that your favorite brownie recipe (or box mix, i know you're lazy, you know you're lazy, betty crocker also knows you're lazy!) calls for and pour it into the pan. Simmer for one hour on low heat, then cool.

Mix all other brownie ingredients in a bowl, add oil to mix.

Grease a brownie pan, preheat the oven, and go forth as your recipe suggests.

Cut small portions, eat one yourself, then determine how high you are. If you're so high you pass out, cut the portions in halves once again, but if you're not all that high then allow your guests two of the original small portions.

in MY kingdom, only BUTTER will be used in brownies. pure creamery unsalted BUTTER.

when i find my recipe for alice b. toklas fudge i will post it. you will note therein that the "nubs" are sauteed in BUTTER as well.

              hear hear!

however, when it comes to brownies the absolute BEST combination is when the grass is sauteed in coconut oil. it's actually MUCH MUCH better than butter and it still clogs your arteries, yay!

Why just Marijuana. I can't stand marijuana. What's in it for me? Why not be ending prohibition of halucinogens like acid, mushrooms, dmt, etc.

yes, yes, of course brentt dahling. but start a new thread for that. marijuana is not a separate issue, but for the sake of actually ending prohibition we treat it as a separate issue for now - if we lump it with acid and mushrooms we'll have less chance of success and norml, mpp, and others have been fighting for legalization for so long, and often to help people who are seriously ill yet rotting in jail.

ok, i've always wanted to know about hash. how do you extract it? cook it in butter 40 minutes or so, the same way? and what's the truffle recipe, please? ali, i can't go on without knowing!

        END THE DRUG WAR, PERIOD.

        HASH INFO www.cannabisculture.com/articl...12.html

        BROWNIE RECIPE
** This recipe involves making a cake layer, and then putting a layer of brownie truffles on top. To make really lovely hash brownies- take hash and grind it in pestle until you have fine crumbs. Sprinkle those crumbs inbetween the layers- between the brownie and the truffle, right before you bake it. Heavenly Hash indeed.

        Divine Truffle Brownies
8-ounce package semisweet or 6-ounce package bittersweet baking chocolate squares

        1/4 C. (1/2 stick) butter or margarine

        3/4 C. sugar

        3 eggs

        1 C. flour

2/3 C. heavy or whipping cream

Heat oven to 350° F. (325° F. for glass baking dish). Line an 8-inch baking dish with foil extending over edges to form handle. Grease foil.

In a medium microwave-safe bowl, cook 2 squares of the chocolate and the butter on high (100 percent power) for 1 1/2 minutes or until the butter is melted. Stir until chocolate is melted. Stir in 1/2
cup of the sugar. Stir in 1 egg until well blended. Stir in flour. Spread batter in pan.

Cook remaining chocolate (6 squares if using semisweet, 4 squares if using bittersweet) and cream in microwave-safe bowl on high 1 1/2
minutes; stir until chocolate is melted. Beat remaining 1/4 cup sugar and the remaining 2 eggs in a small bowl with electric mixer on high
speed 1 minute until thick and lemon yellow-colored; beat in chocolate and cream mixture. Pour over batter in pan.

Bake 35 minutes to 40 minutes or until the truffle topping is set and edges begin to pull away from sides of pan. Cool in pan. Run knife around edge of pan to loosen brownies from sides. Lift from pan
        using foil as handles.

        Cut into 16 fudgy brownies.
