Wed, April 6, 2005 - 10:43 PM?? you almost deleted *my* post? hm. if overpopulation is the problem we want to fix, NO ONE should reproduce. never mind smart vs. stupid. i don't disagree with the original suggestion -- just wondered what to do about the smart offspring of stupid people. and vice versa. if only smart people are allowed to reproduce, what happens when they produce stupid offspring?
and how do we figure out whether it's the father or the mother that passes the smart/stupid gene on? all of which is based on the premise that one would stop stupid people from reproducing. why not stop everybody??

And then comes a negative spew, about deciding who gets to breed.
Guess what my darlings- you want fewer people, increase the infant mortality and the standard of living. You want to make the world a better place, start with you.
Small things make a difference and to be truly benevolent you should want that difference to be positive:
-Bike when you can.
-Recycle when you can.
-Smile when you can.
-Share when you can.
